Abstract
Magnetization measurements at 4.2 K have been performed on magnetically aligned Gd2Co14B and Gd2(Co,Al)14B samples in fields up to 57 T, applied parallel to the alignment direction. At high fields, the antiparallel ferrimagnetic configuration is broken up. Values for the intersublattice molecular‐field coefficient and for the molecular field acting on the Gd moment, derived by means of mean‐field analysis of the observed magnetic isotherms, are presented. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
