Abstract
The Quick Test and the WAIS Verbal Scale were administered to 30 severely physically handicapped persons in a physical medicine and rehabilitation hospital. There was no significant difference between the mean IQ scores of the QT and the WAIS Verbal Scale. This, coupled with a correlation of .80, supports the authors' hypothesis that the QT can be utilized for a quick assessment of intellectual functioning in the rehabilitation setting. Keywords
