Abstract
For pt. I see abstr. A18145 of 1971. A form of the Coulomb T matrix is used in the first order Faddeev-Watson approximation to evaluate e-H elastic differential cross sections at 200 eV incident electron energy. The results confirm the large discrepancy with the Born found by Chen and Sinfailam (to be published) using a similar approximation. Modifications to the form of the T matrix near its energy shell are discussed and it is shown how these can significantly alter the order of magnitude of the differential cross sections. Keywords
