Abstract
The virus of infectious canine hepatitis was propagated through 70 successive passages in roller tube tissue cultures of dog kidney accompanied by production of distinct cytologic changes. After 51 serial passages, the virus apparently had lost its former virulence for dogs, although still capable of producing a solid immunity. A neutralization test in tissue culture was developed and used as a sen-sitive diagnostic aid. Virus was isolated directly from the blood or liver of infected dogs. Keywords
