Abstract
Patients (14) had surveillance colonoscopy 2-48 yr after ureterosigmoidostomy urinary diversion. Of these (37%) had benign polyps distal to the implant sites that were removed, but no colon carcinomas were found. The rationale for surveillance colonoscopy at regular intervals is discussed. This procedure may allow greater usage of ureterosigmoidostomy as a means of urinary diversion. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
