Abstract
The Mn content of the parts of individual ox eyes were determined separately and reported on the basis of both fresh and dry wt. Retina, conjunctiva, iris sclera, choroid, and aqueous and vitreous humors gave values of 0.5-1.4 ppm. dry wt.; cornea, optic nerve and lens, 0.03-0.3 ppm. In the retina the Mn is nondialyzable and not specifically concerned in the visual process. Keywords
