Abstract
Of 90 cyclic nitrogenous compounds tested for tumor growth inhibition on carcinomata and sarcomata in mice, the most effective against carcinomata are diaminodiphenyl derivatives such as benzidine, 4,4[image]-diaminodiphenylether and 4,4[image]-diaminodiphenylsulphoxide. The inhibitory action was generally present only during the time of admn., but a more prolonged effect was obtained with 4,4[image]-diaminodiphenyl ether and 6-([image]- aminobenzenesulphamido) - quinoline.
