Nonlinear resistive g mode and electron heat conductivity in torsatron/heliotron plasmas

Abstract
An electron heat conduction coefficient χe induced by the nonlinear saturation of the resistive g mode in a stellarator is calculated. It agrees reasonably well with the anomalous χe values inferred from Heliotron‐E [Nucl. Fusion 2 4, 305 (1984)] discharges.
