Abstract
A compact low-loss transmit-receive multiplexer for direct satellite broadcast of two television channels is described. The response synthesis for the two contiguous transmit channels is outlined. A circuit model for the filter-to-manifold coupling, methods for its control, and the optimization of the manifold spacings are discussed. A technique for improving the transmitter-to-receiver isolation is shown. Experimental responses are given. Keywords
