Abstract
Low-voltage four-terminal d.c. conductivity measurements have been carried out on alumina single crystals in the temperature range 600-900?K and under different pressures of air and argon atmosphere. The thermoelectric power values for the same samples have been reported earlier by Dasgupta and Hart. Results obtained from the measurements of the current in the sample, applied voltage and probe voltage for the sample having very high positive and negative thermal e.m.f. are interesting. Keywords
