Abstract
At ordinary temps., tributyl phosphate will dissolve up to 36%, by wt., of 2,4-D. Best results were obtained with solns. in which the conc, of 2,4-D was from 0.5 to 5.0% by wt. after dilution of the tributyl phosphate soln. with kerosene or low-grade fuel oil. These solns. were stable at ordinary temps. and were fully miscible with mineral oils. Tributyl phosphate added to the herbicidal effect. This solvent also dissolved large amts. of other substituted phenoxyacetic acids. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
