Abstract
Free radicals formed by X-irradiation of polycrystalline pyrimidines (21 uracil and cytosine derivatives) were studied by ESR of the spin-trapped radicals formed by dissolving polycrystalline samples in aqueous solutions containing NtB or PBN spin traps. In general, a very good correlation is found between the radicals observed in the powder and those trapped in solution. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
