Abstract
A DNA of unique buoyant density and a nucleotide-incorporating activity resembling DNA-dependent RNA polymerase were found in mitochondrial fractions of N. crassa. These components appeared to be effectively segregated in the intact mitochondrion from externally added DNase, RNase, and DNA.Keywords
