Abstract
The UVR absorption spectrum for skin surface lipid was measured by spectrometry. Significant absorption occurred throughout the UVR range, with a maximum at 215 nm. We estimate that the lipid normally present on forehead skin is likely to reduce transmission at 300 nm by about 10%.This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
