Abstract
Feminist organizational communication theorizing offers an analysis of how varied feminist approaches can provide unique insights into the consequences of traditional gender interactions in everyday organizing processes. Traditional societal and organizational themes of competition, cause-effect linear thinking, and separation/autonomy are juxtaposed with alternative themes focusing on community, integrative thinking, and connectedness. By exploring these alternatives and generating specific questions from numerous perspectives, this article advocates change toward these feminine/feminist values in theorizing and in practice.
