Abstract
Spectrophotometric detns. of the K content of small vols. of sea water brought into contact with Libinia emarginata nerves over half-hour intervals demonstrate a continuous loss of K from the fibers while at rest in O2; an appreciable increase in the leakage during anoxia; a reabsorption of K during postanoxic recovery; and a reduction in the amplitude of the anoxic and postanoxic changes in the presence of glucose. Keywords
