Abstract
A windowed local polynomial approximation (LPA) of time-varying directions-of-arrival (DOA) is exploited to derive a new form of beamformer for source localization and tracking in nonstationary environments. The relationship between our LPA-beamformer and conventional beamformer is discussed. Keywords
