Abstract
The coherent potential approximation is applied to a study of the DC electrical conductivity of substitutionally disordered off-diagonal binary and ternary alloys in the presence of phonons. The effect of strain on the temperature variation of the conductivity is also investigated. Superposition of thermal and off-diagonal disorder produces some effects not observed in the previous one-band theories. Keywords
