Abstract
Gamma-ray buildup factors, both exposure (dose) and energy absorption, were calculated for sand (SiO2), air (N78O22), and cellulose or wood (C6H10O5). A moments method program coded for the CDC-1604 computer was the principal computing device used.Keywords
