Abstract
Several pyrethroids and azinphosmethyl were evaluated for control of Rhagoletis Pomonella (Walsh) at Frelighsburg, Quebec. When R. pomonella activity was low, all products evaluated provided commercially acceptable control. However with increased activity, only azinphosmethyl and cypermethrin provided some relief but still commercially unacceptable control. Residue levels of all insecticides on the peel were several-fold of the residue levels in the pulp and whole apples. When a whole apple was considered the residue levels of all insecticides were at a negligible level. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
