Abstract
Dark current noise measurements on a bound to miniband transition quantum well infrared photodetector were carried out at 77 K to either prove or disprove the correctness of three different, recently published noise expressions. The noise data indicate that the bound electron generation rate varies exponentially with applied voltage. Keywords
