Approximate ladder of resonances in a semi-infinite crystal

Abstract
Numerical evidence for approximate ladders of resonances in semi-infinite one-dimensional crystal models is reported. The accuracy of the results allows the authors to point out many features of such ladders and to compare them with theoretical speculations going back to Wannier and Zener.Keywords
