Abstract
The type of neotype specimens of the 3 spp. are redescribed and contrasted, with emphasis on the juvenile and mature morphology of conidia and on the modes of proliferation of conidiophores and conidia. A. alternate (Fr.) Keissler, S. botryosum Wallr., and U. botrytis Pr. are accepted as the legitimate names for the respective type spp. Among the 9 spp. assigned to Ulocladium are the novelties U. tuberculatum (soil isolate, Utah), U. oudemansii (origin indeterminate),and 5comb. nov. derived from basionyms in Stemphylium, Sporidesmlum, Macrosporium, Helmlnthosporium, and Alternaria. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
