Abstract
The mouse toxic factor of the influenza virus originally reported by the Henles was reinvestigated and similarities and difference! between their observations and the authors are discussed-. It was found that production of early consolidation of the lung may have been due to toxic activity of the virus. The toxicity of the virus for the ferret was compared to that of the mouse and it was shown that the ferret was less susceptible than the mouse. Keywords
