Improvement of a closed cycle for removal and recovery of dilute gases ‐application to dry cleaning industry

Abstract
Experimental investigation of desorption caused by direct electrical heating of a carbon bed adsorbent is studied. The electric parameters of the carbon chosen are defined, in order to perform the heating process. A simulation of thermal exchange is proposed. The real desorption is then achieved consequently to the Joule effect overheating. Cyclic adsorption and desorption results are also presented.
