Abstract
A method is described for the propagation of a strain of cells from monkey kidney in tubes rotated around their horizontal axes at 40-50 rpm. Under these conditions, it was possible to achieve a 100-fold increase in the logarithmic phase without initial lag. The generation time was about 33 hours. Keywords
