Abstract
Comparative high performance liquid chromatography examination of 7 antibiotics of the vancomycin type was undertaken. With 1 type of column and eluent system, ristomycin A (ristocetin A) was separated from vancomycin and both antibiotics were quantitatively determined. Under these conditions the lowest detectable quantities of the individual antibiotics were stated. By the application of the same column and a different eluent system A, ristomycin A (ristocetin A) and the major component of the A-35512B antibiotic complex were readily separated from one another and from avoparcin .alpha. and .beta.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
