Abstract
Single crystals of superconducting BaPb1-x Bi x O3 of mm-size are obtained by slowly cooling PbO2–Bi2O3–BaPbO3 solution. It is shown from Meissner effect results that the as-grown crystals are superconducting and the critical temperature is in the temperature range from 6.3 to 10.8 K, dependent on starting composition and growth condition. Keywords
