Abstract
The current model of amorphous semiconductors is applied to give a description of the electrical behaviour of liquids which show a gradual transition from a semiconducting to a metallic behaviour as some parameter such as temperature or volume is changed. These include mercury at high temperatures, Te-Se alloys and chalcogenide glasses. Keywords
