Abstract
Investigations were carried out to determine whether or not a decreasing action of hepatic glycogen content in rats by ginseng [Panax ginseng] extract is due to its main constituent, saponin. Ginseng saponin may decrease the glycogen stores, but the degree of its effect is regulated by the nutritional status of rats. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
