Abstract
Fullerene C60 undergoes cycloaddition reactions with substituted thieno-o-quinodimethanes yielding novel thiophene containing monoadducts. The spectroscopic data reveal Cs symmetry and the cyclic voltammetry studies show cathodically shifted reduction waves related to C60.Keywords
