Abstract
With the help of the Bethe ansatz the two-point correlation function of the ground state of the isotropic quantum-mechanical one-dimensional Heisenberg antiferromagnet with nearest-neighbor interactions is computed for the finite model up to 16 lattice points. The extrapolations of these values lead to the known exact results of the infinite model. Keywords
