Abstract
An unusual case of graft failure following bone marrow transplantation for aplastic anemia is reported in which the patient had delayed and incomplete recovery of hematopoiesis despite documentation of sustained engraftment. The pathophysiology of graft failure following bone marrow transplantation is discussed and recent advances in pretransplant immunosuppressive therapy to prevent graft rejection are reviewed. This publication has 32 references indexed in Scilit:
