Magnetic Moment of the Proton inH2O in Bohr Magnetons

Abstract
We have measured the ratio of the magnetic moment of the electron in hydrogen to the magnetic moment of the proton in H2O to be gj(H)gp=658.2160091(68) [10 parts per billion (ppb)], at a temperature of 34.7°C. This yields a value for the proton moment in Bohr magnetons of μpμB=0.001520992983(17) (11 ppb). Our result differs from the currently accepted value by 150 ppb.
