Abstract
Acute Hg poisoning in HgCl2-injected rats is prevented by injn. of BAL. Rats are also protected from a lethal dose of HgCl2 given by mouth if BAL is administered by injn. and supplemented by oral dosage. This treatment is superior to rongalite given under the same conditions. Keywords
