Abstract
Theoretical -shell Auger groups rates, and -ray rates, and fluorescence yields are presented for 47 defect electronic configurations of argon. Energy shifts from the normal x rays and the Auger-electron energies are also given for these defect configurations. These theoretical results can be conveniently used in the analysis of experiments involving heavy-ion—argon collisions.
