Comments on the Doorway State inPb206

The neutron capture cross section of ${}_{}{}^{206}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Pb}(n, \gamma )$ has been measured with high resolution at the Oak Ridge electron linear accelerator. The capture results show that the reported $s_{\frac{1}{2}}$ doorway in ${}_{}{}^{206}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Pb}$ is not observed in the photon channel.
