Abstract
# A decrease in multiple events may be missed {#article-title-2} EDITOR,—Jurgen Windeler and Stefan Lange describe the “new measure” invented in 1982 to describe osteoporotic fractures in the context of clinical trials—namely, the frequency of vertebral fracture.1 They suggest that the number of patients developing vertebral fractures is a more appropriate end point.
