Abstract
When groups of 7 weanling rats were placed on diets deficient in phenylalanine, leucine, isoleucine, arginine, histidine, threonine and valine, the incidence of corneal vascularization was 7, 6, 7, 5, 7, 7, and 5, respectively. Four of the 7 rats on the histidine deficient diet also developed lenticular opacities.Keywords
