Abstract
From the wave functions of the multiplets of Slater's theory of complex spectra, the relative transition probabilities of multiplet transitions have been calculated for Russell-Saunders coupling for the electron configurations , , , , , , and the quintet transitions of . The calculated quintet transition probabilities of are compared with the values measured in Ti I.
