Macromolecular Compounds Isolated from Airborne Particles by Electrophoresis and Paper Chromatography

Abstract
Paper chromatography and electrophoresis are used to isolate microquantities of two biologically significant compounds, “A” and “B,” from samples of airborne particles. Electrophoretic and chromatographic patterns are presented and discussed. A new rapid electrophoresis method is described which requires only two hours for separating a complicated mixture of aglycones.
