Abstract
An integrated-optic demultiplexer is realised for use with 8 × 10 Gbaud orthogonal frequency division multiplexed subcarrier channels. The device is composed of an 8 × 8 optical fast Fourier transform circuit and an array of optical gates, and is used to demultiplex a 160 Gbit/s polarisation multiplexed signal in the optical domain. Keywords
