Abstract
Wilcoxon''s rank test for the difference between 2 treatments is extended to the case of unequal numbers in the 2 groups. Tables of the 5%, 1% and 0.1% points of the distribution are given for n1 + n2 [less than or equal to] 30. The method is applied to some physiological data.
