Abstract
Dental examinations of selected children in this fluo-ridation study were supplemented with bite-wing X-rays from which determinations were made of caries prevalence and caries depth. Clinical and X-ray findings showed similar decreases in dental caries. The X-ray findings suggest that fluoride retards the development of caries and prevents its inception. Keywords
