Abstract
On the basis of observations on the etching and dissolution behavior of LiF crystals in aqueous solutions of fatty acids, it is suggested that certain solution phenomena previously considered anomalous are no longer so, once the significant role of lattice defects and step‐poisons in the dissolution process is appreciated. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
