Abstract
Recent treatment efficacy research has shown that a clinician’s choice of treatment targets is an important factor affecting sound generalization by children with phonological impairments. In this article, approaches to target selection are reviewed and an individualized clinical problem-solving approach to treatment target selection and prioritization is described. Finally, application of this approach is demonstrated in a case study. Keywords
