Abstract
Samples from a confined population tested in 1963 and 1965 indicated gene frequencies of a semi-lethal allele of .278 and .303, respectively. Comparison with frequencies in 1955 and 1959 suggests that equilibrium was attained, the chief forces involved between gametic selection for the allele in males, opposed by male sterility and lowered viability of homozygotes.
