Abstract
Physiol. changes brought about by hyperventilation, together with their compensation, are classified under the following heads for discussion: blood and urine, respiratory control, cardio-circulatory changes (cardiac output, ecgs., peripheral circulation, cerebral circulation), neuromuscular changes (tetany, nerve irritability, psychomotor performance, epilepsy, eegs.). Clinical reports of symptoms due to hyperventilation are summarized briefly. Keywords
