Abstract
Proton penetration factors for are calculated under several assumptions of nuclear potential. The status of the Critchfield-Teller theory is briefly discussed in the light of these calculations and the angular distribution found by Jennings, Swartz, and Rossi. Measurements at higher energies are called for.
