Abstract
0, 0.25, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, and 4.0 mg. cortisone acetate in distilled water were inoculated into the yolk sac of fertile White Leghorn eggs on the fourth day of incubation. Allantoic fluid was withdrawn from the surviving embryos on the 13th day of incubation. Statistical analysis of the chemical data revealed a rise in Na and a fall in K in all groups receiving cortisone, and a rise in Cl at the 2 higher amts., and in reducing sugar at 4.0 mg.Keywords
